Located along the banks of the Missouri River right off
I-90 lies Chamberlain on the east side and Oacoma on the west side with the historic Highway 16 bridge connecting the two.

Hwy 16 bridge closed for construction for the next 18 months..........................................
A major overhaul is planned for the 56-year-old metal truss bridge. The Interstate 90 bridge will remain open. The Transportation Department expects the closure to last through December 2010.
Boats will be able to cross below the bridge in areas where work is not under way. Areas closed to boats beneath the bridge will be marked with buoys.
